Post-Election Polling

GavelThe Federalist Society commissioned exit polling of voters on election night last November regarding their perspectives on role of courts issues in relation to the election. Click HERE to see the executive summary as well as the raw data. Results of the Federalist Society’s poll were confirmed by a subsequent Rasmussen poll that found nearly two-thirds of U.S. voters (64%) say U.S. Supreme Court decisions should be based on what is written in the Constitution.

The Employee Free Choice Act

On March 10, 2009, the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) was re-introduced to Congress by Sen. Ted Kennedy and Rep. George Miller. The EFCA would amend existing labor law to incorporate provisions for card check, mandatory arbitration, and higher penalties for organizational unfair labor practices.
