2011 Wisconsin Act 10, better known as the “Budget Repair Bill,” garnered national attention when thousands of protestors filled the state Capitol day-in and day out in opposition to its collective bargaining provisions; comprising one of the largest protests ever seen in Wisconsin. Before it was even published, Act 10 became mired in complex state and federal litigation. With last week's WI Supreme Court decision to uphold Act 10 in its entirety, the legal challenges to the law have finally been exhausted. Join us on September 10th to discuss the entire legal trajectory of Act 10 with a panel discussion by Wisconsin Deputy AG Kevin St. John and Attorneys Eric McLeod and Lester Pines.
