Speaker:

  • Hon. Clayton Greene, Jr., Maryland Court of Appeals

Judge Clayton Greene, Jr. currently sits on the Maryland Court of Appeals and has done so since January 2004. Prior to beginning his service on our state's highest court, Judge Greene has served at every level of the Judicial Branch: District Court, Circuit Court and the Court of Special Appeals. In addition, Judge Greene served in the Office of the Public Defender for Anne Arundel County, as an Assistant County Solicitor, and also in private practice. He received both his bachelor and law degrees from the University of Maryland.

Judge Greene will discuss what it takes to be successful when arguing before Maryland's appellate courts. With his perspectives from both the trial and appellate courts, Judge Greene is uniquely qualified to assist practitioners on what to do and what not to do in Annapolis. Please join the Federalist Society at what promises to be a practical and informative discussion.
