Jonathan H. Adler
- Prof. Jonathan Adler, Case Western University School of Law
Several district courts around the country have now adjudicated challenges to President Obama's health-care reform act - with mixed results. Those cases are now making their way to the appellate courts, and, indeed, the State of Virginia recently asked the U.S. Supreme Court to grant certiorari and adjudicate the merits without awaiting appellate-court decisions. Professor Adler, a renowned federalism expert, will explain the litigation landscape and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the challengers' claims.
Speaker Bio: Jonathan H. Adler is Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Business Law & Regulation at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
