- Gregg Nunziata, former advisor to Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee
The Triangle Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society cordially invites you to a discussion on the impact of the 2012 Presidential Election on the future of the United States Supreme Court featuring Gregg Nunziata. Mr. Nunziata has worked as an advisor in the United States Department of Justice and in senior positions on the staff of the United States Senate. In the Senate, he served as a top advisor to Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Senator Arlen Specter, including during the confirmation of two Supreme Court Justices and an Attorney General. Later, he advised Senate leadership as a judiciary and homeland security policy counsel. In this role, he advised Senators and their staffs on a wide range of legal and homeland security issues including medical liability reform, intellectual property, proposed changes in antitrust laws as applied to health insurers, and many other matters.
Mr. Nunziata received a B.A. with honors from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago. When he was not working for the Senate, Mr. Nunziata clerked for the Honorable Mary McLaughlin on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and was in private practice with a law firm in Philadelphia.
