Gun control advocates have argued for decades that more guns equals more gun crime. Many American cities have enacted severe anti-gun legislation. The Supreme Court overturned the gun bans of Chicago and Washington, DC in the Heller and McDonald cases. Economist and author John R. Lott will discuss his research on what happened to crime rates in those cities after the Supreme Court affirmed gun rights, and how gun control does not make us safer.
