- Professor Josh Blackman, South Texas College of Law
Professor Blackman will discuss his book, Unprecedented: The Constitutional Challenge to Obamacare. The Wall Street Journal described Unprecedented as "excellent," Professor Randy Barnett of Georgetown Law Center deemed it to be "the definitive account of the historic constitutional challenge to ObamaCare," and the National Law Journal recently named it as one of their Supreme Court Books of 2013.
Professor Blackman is the founder and President of the Harlan Institute; the founder of FantasySCOTUS.net, the Internet's Premier Supreme Court Fantasy League; and blogs at JoshBlackman.com. In addition to Unprecedent, Professor Blackman has written over a dozen articles about constitutional law. Professor Blackman clerked for the Honorable Danny J. Boggs on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and for the Honorable Kim R. Gibson on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
