Professor Presser is a leading American legal historian and expert on shareholder liability for corporate debts. He is finishing up the 8th edition of his legal history casebook. Professor Presser is frequently an invited witness before committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives on issues of constitutional law. He holds a joint appointment with the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and also teaches in Northwestern’s history department. Professor Presser received his A.B. cum laude from Harvard University, and his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law. He practiced law at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, and was a law clerk to the Honorable Malcolm R. Wilkey, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Boxed lunches will be provided if you reserve one. Please indicate in your RSVP if you want lunch and what type of sandwich you want. There is an $11 charge for lunch, which will be collected at the door. Boxed lunches include a sandwich, bottled water, fruit, chips, and a cookie.
