Bradley A. Benbrook is the founding partner of Benbrook Law Group, a litigation firm that focuses on business disputes, public policy litigation, and appellate matters. The firm has filed a number of amicus briefs in constitutional matters around the Nation, including a brief for demographers in Evenwel v. Abbott and a brief for constitutional law professors in Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association. Benbrook Law Group regularly handles administrative disputes and investigations. The firm is hired as special counsel in a variety of contexts, including complex family law matters and trust and estate disputes.
Before starting the firm, Mr. Benbrook was a partner for several years at the former litigation boutique Stevens & O’Connell LLP. Prior to moving to Sacramento, he worked in Palo Alto as an associate at Wilson Sonsini. After graduating from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, Mr. Benbrook worked as a judicial clerk for the Hon. J.L. Edmondson on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. Mr. Benbrook obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he was a four-year letterman on the varsity golf team.
