Eric "Rick" Blumberg

Deputy Chief Counsel for Litigation, Office of Chief Counsel, U.S. Food and Drug Administration

Eric M. Blumberg has been with the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Food and Drug Administration since 1970, and has been the Deputy Chief Counsel for Litigation since September 1991. Mr. Blumberg graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1969 and from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia, in 1966. As the Deputy Chief Counsel for Litigation, FDA, Mr. Blumberg oversees all litigation relating to enforcement of the statutes administered by FDA and all defensive litigation arising out of FDA programs.
