U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit (ret.)

Nominated by Ronald Reagan on December 19, 1987, to a seat vacated by Phillip Benjamin Baldwin; Confirmed by the Senate on February 29, 1988, and received commission on March 4, 1988. Served as chief judge, 2004-2010. Service terminated on May 31, 2010, due to retirement.
