Mr. Consovoy assists clients with the resolution of complex legal issues before the Supreme Court, federal appellate and trial courts, state courts, and federal agencies. He has represented clients on a range of issues, including the First Amendment, the Commerce Clause, the Communications Act, the Voting Rights Act, and the Federal Arbitration Act. Mr. Consovoy also is the co-director of the George Mason University School of Law Supreme Court Clinic. He is a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Chief Judge Edith Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
