Mr. Christian J. Ward
Mr. Ward is an attorney at Yetter, Warden & Coleman L.L.P. His practice focuses on complex appeals. He has represented major corporations in a variety of industries including energy, insurance, and financial services and one sovereign nation in federal and state courts throughout the country and in the U.S. Supreme Court. He has briefed numerous successful appeals and orally argued in federal and state appellate courts.
Mr. Ward graduated from Harvard Law School, where he was a Notes Editor of the Harvard Law Review and also on the staff of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. After graduating, he clerked for the Honorable Will Garwood of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is president of the Austin Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
Mr. Ward is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. Before attending law school, he worked as a Latin teacher, for the Republican Party of Texas, and for Texas State Senator Jane Nelson.
He is admitted to practice in Texas, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, Ninth, and District of Columbia Circuits, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
