Prof. James Lindgren

Professor of Law, Northwestern University School of Law

James Lindgren is a leading scholar in the growing movement of New Legal Empiricists. Many of his current projects examine the roles that viewpoint diversity plays in American society. He is an influential scholar in the area of trusts and estates. He has also done important scholarship in legal education, law reviews and criminal law. He is a cofounder of the Section on Scholarship of the Association of American Law Schools and a former chair of its Section on Social Science and the Law.
