John N. Raudabaugh

Mr. Raudabaugh is a former member of National Labor Relations Board (1990-1993). He is an experienced labor and employee relations law counsel serving multinational corporations in policy, litigation, and regulatory compliance counseling. In addition to his substantive experience in labor and employee relations law and related litigation, he is well-versed in labor considerations in corporate transactions, responding to union corporate campaigns, strikes, and injunction proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, social responsibility, compliance, and comparative international law standards.

Mr. Raudabaugh frequently advises policymakers on labor law and labor standards and has represented policymakers and trade associations in amicus filings regarding significant labor law policy issues before the U.S. National Labor Relations Board. A presidential nominee, Mr. Raudabaugh was confirmed by the U.S. Senate and served as a member of the U.S. National Labor Relations Board from 1990–1993, deciding more than 4,000 federal labor law representation and unfair labor practice cases.

Mr. Raudabaugh served as an adjunct professor of labor law at Northwestern University, University of Chicago, and Emory University law schools. In 2009, he represented U.S. employers at the International Labour Conference, 98th Session, and served on the Committee of the Whole addressing the global jobs crisis. He also co-chaired a study for the United Nations Development Programme Office of the Global Defender of the Poor addressing the elimination of the worst forms of child labor, forced labor, and discrimination through access to justice, remediation, and employment and labor rights.
