Candidates for the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals answered questions from the moderator, Former North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Willis Whichard, and the audience regarding judicial philosophy, the role of the courts, and current issues facing the North Carolina judicial system. This event took place on September 21, 2010, at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Triangle Lawyers Chapter did not invite the candidates for the Wynn seat on the Court of Appeals to this forum for logistical reasons. A separate event for the thirteen Wynn seat candidates will be on October 7 at 12:00 at the John Locke Foundation.
