The fight for political preeminence in the Texas congressional map unfolded amidst upheaval in governing election law by the United States Supreme Court. In this uncertain environment, the creativity exhibited by lawyers seeking victory paralleled the creativity of the maps themselves and touched on every element of election law related to redistricting.
