Bio for Bradford Berenson

On December 5th, 2007, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Boumediene v. Bush. The case arises on a writ of habeas corpus filed on behalf of detainees currently being held by the United States at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. These detainees challenge the legality and constitutionality of their detention as enemy combatants pursuant to the Military Commissions Act of 2006.  In this episode of SCOTUScast, Bradford Berenson, a partner at Washington, DC’s Sidley Austin, offers his own analysis of the case.
