Michael Madigan

Michael Madigan has over 30 years of experience in white collar criminal, congressional and corporate internal investigations. He began his legal career by serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C. where he tried over 100 jury trials. At age 30, he served as Counsel to Senator Howard Baker on the historic Senate Watergate investigation. Madigan also has served as Chief Counsel to Senator Fred Thompson’s campaign finance investigation and Counsel to both the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Church Committee. In private practice, he has successfully represented numerous high-profile individual clients and companies and is recognized for white collar crime in Washingtonian Top Lawyers and Chambers USA. He currently heads the White Collar Crime Division of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
