James P. Kelly III
Jim Kelly serves as the Director of International Affairs for the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies based in Washington, D.C.
In his capacity as Director of International Affairs, Jim is responsible for monitoring the work of international organizations in the areas of education, bioethics, and human rights and for developing Federalist Society chapters in London, Brussels, Paris, and Geneva. From 2000-2004, Jim served as the President and General Counsel for Solidarity Center for Law and Justice, P.C., a public interest religious and educational liberty law firm. He was the founder and former Executive Director for Georgia Community Foundation, Inc., an education reform, policy, and scholarship foundation based in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2001, Jim served on the U.S. delegation to the United Nations International Consultative Conference on School Education in relation with Freedom of Religion and Belief, Tolerance and Non-discrimination in Madrid, Spain. He earned his Bachelor and Law degrees from the University of Georgia. Jim also earned a Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Non-Profit Management degree from Regis University in Denver.
Jim and his wife have two daughters.
