About the Speaker: Brendan Morrissey is an Associate with Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC. His practice includes a broad spectrum of federal district court and appellate litigation, including in the areas of telecommunications, government contracts, and voting rights. His voting rights experience includes the current representation of Shelby County, Alabama in its constitutional challenge to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act, the State of Florida in its preclearance and constitutional litigation, and the filing amicus curiae briefs in the Supreme Court of the United States in Crawford v. Marion County Election Board, Riley v. Kennedy, Northwest Austin Municipal Utility District Number One v. Holder, and Perry v.
