The topic of this year's convention is: The Future of U.S. Constitutional Law in the Supreme Court. The Convention will address the fact that at the present time, the U.S. Supreme Court is very closely divided on many foundational topics in constitutional law, such as federalism, separation of powers, religious liberties. The panels at this convention will focus on these three areas of case law and will conclude with a panel on what constitutes judicial activism.
