Prior to opening his own practice in 2001, Alan’s experience included service as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California, Counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and as an attorney with the Washington, D.C. office of Sidley & Austin. Alan began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Terrence W. Boyle, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
