He has over a decade of government experience, most recently as Solicitor General of Texas, the State&rsquo;s chief appellate and Supreme Court litigator. This past Term, he successfully argued Sossamon v. Texas. An experienced appellate, business, and constitutional litigator, Mr. Ho has briefed, argued, and won cases in diverse areas of law in courts across the country. He clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court and for Judge Jerry Smith of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Ho will apply his expert knowledge of the U.S. Supreme Court and its jurisprudence to explaining and analyzing important decisions from the Court&rsquo;s 2011-12 Term, which concluded at the end of June. High-profile cases from this year&rsquo;s docket included those dealing with Obamacare, the Arizona immigration law, and life sentences for juvenile offenders.
